Cévennes
Les Calquieres campsite is located on the edge of the Cevennes National Park, in the heart of the Midi Pyrenees near Languedoc Roussillon. For your camping vacation in the South of France, Les Calquières is an ideal family campsite with spacious pitches and comfortable rental accommodation.
The park has two distinctive features that make it unique: it is the only French national park whose protected core zone is significantly inhabited, and it is also the only one located in a mid-mountain area. As a result, it is home to a significant cultural heritage and is developing a policy that reconciles protection and sustainable development.
Just a few minutes away, in the Lozère region, you’ll find Ecomusées, Grottes, Cirques, Châteaux and many other buildings.
Road itineraries are available for half-day or full-day tours.
There are also many local products to discover, such as Pélardon…
If you’re looking for a change of scenery, a stay at a Cevennes campsite is a great idea for your next vacation.
