The plateau of Aubrac
The Aubrac, a land of traditions
From the campsite, discover the Aubrac on the Aveyron and Lozère sides...
When you think of the Aubrac, the famous cheese specialty "Aligot" comes to mind, but not only !
Bordered by the Grands Causses, this high volcanic plateau with an average altitude of 1000 meters will amaze you with its unique character, its landscapes of rare beauty, and its fauna and flora.
Between forests, pastures and meadows, discover a mosaic of diverse habitats such as the traditional "Burons", houses with the roofs of Lauze that were used to house the local cheese-makers, and discover the herds of the pretty "Aubrac" cows.
Between natural lakes and streams, splendour in the wild awaits you!
In May, come and take part in the traditional Transhumance festival, the rise of herds of beautiful Aubrac beauties embellished with flowers and other artifices!
