Le Larzac

The Causse du Larzac is a high karstic plateau in France, just south of the Massif Central, stretching from Millau (Aveyron) to Lodève (Hérault).

The whole site (relief, architecture, ground coverage) is so unusual that it led to the creation of the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park, and the Causse is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
